Well, It's been a while since I thought about it. But I guess I do. I updated Minecraft to 1.9 or 1.0.0 and went on my world. Nothing. I spawned in and everything I had, everything I made, was gone. But I created a new world a while after that and tried to recreate it. Going pretty well so far, but it will never be the same.
On one of my first worlds, I built a large wooden house on a mountain and a huge wooden tower to get up and down. I was even planning on making a stone guard tower. I didn't know about lava's flamable properties so I put a lavafall next to my house. I came back from harvesting cobblestone and my house was gone. I didn't feel like rebuilding it so I started a new world. It was a nice world. my nooby self even had a nether portal.
No, I don't exactly remember it anyway. I think it was some kind of forest biome, but back then, I was always loosing my spawn (usually a large hole in a mountain) and creating new worlds, like a noob (I was always traveling to find pigs). My first residence that lasted more than two weeks was a revamped house in a village when the official release came out last year.
name: In a world where...
contents: house with random additions all over the place (seriously, when i wanted more space i just opened a wall and expanded like 5 blocks at a time), dozens of little buildings, glowstone beacons everywhere to lead me home from adventures, dozens of larger buildings, so many diamonds..... (all around beta 1.2)
I was god. Then I got a new computer and never took the time to switch the files over....
Kind of miss it but I've since made like 6 or 7 SSP worlds that are separately better than it by far, without much effort or time spent.
Basically started atop a large biome winter mountain and just whacked down trees around it and made a nice and large log cabin. Had a bedroom (which took forever because sheeps were SO hard to find), indoor wheat farm, basement with infinite water, mining tunnels and shafts, and the land around was pretty amazing.
Problems occurred when I tried to make a fire place after realising I could use my one and only iron bar from a zombie to make flint and steel.... Cobblestone did not hold the heat very well. Set my first story cieling on fire, which escalated to burning the entire house except maybe 30 blocks or so down and everything in it except the doors, an empty chest and a crafting table. Yeah, I ragequit.
Alpha 1.1.2_01, almost 2 years ago, about a week before I got a gaming laptop that could run the game, and The weekend the Minecraft servers were down for the weekend thus making the game free to play.
I downloaded the game, render distance set to tiny due to intel GMA being crap at running the game well, I made my first world.
Spawned on a beach, snow world at the time, punched a few trees, made a shelter under a cliff.
The next day rolled around, since I couldn't see far due to tiny render distance, I went away from spawn. Found a frozen lake, and a cave right next to it.
Went into the cave, monsters everywhere and a lava fall! Form there... That's where the experice was grand.
I'll save the rest of the story for later , but a week later, I bought Minecraft for when I was 15$. I got my gaming laptop, and upon transferring files over from my old laptop, I forgot to transfer my save file over, I wiped windows on my old laptop, loosing my first save file ever.
But I still have my 2nd save file from when I bought Minecraft. A tower with a lava fall, failed underground farm, and chunk error land just a short distance after updates and updates breaking world generation.
( (')(') Say hi
Also, F**k yeah Dark Souls
Minecraft [Alpha] 1.7.3 had blocks that you can use to build with.
Minecraft now has blocks that you can use to build with.
Nothing has changed in my opinion." That is all.

My first world all I ever did was jump around and hit things.
Also I would only jump off cliffs.
