Right now, I'm planning on writing a story set in survival minecraft world I'm going to be playing in. It's nothing big, really - It'll just be a daily chronicle of what I do in the minecraft world (which I've called Pepperland due to the fact that the world seed is "thebeatles", but without quotes) accompanied by several screenshots similar to the one you see on the bottom of the post.
I'll be posting the first part soon - but for now, please stay tuned for updates!
Love the idea of using Minecraft as an outlet for creative writing! Indeed, your world can be as much a setting for a story as Middle Earth is for Lord of the Rings! I hope that you find another layer of fun in sharing your world through this lens.

LP series? Not my style! Video series? Closer, but not quite. Survival journal, maybe? That's better. Now in Season 3 of the Legends of Quintropolis Journal (<< click to view)!! World download and more can be found there.
I don't know how I got here. Last night, I went to sleep on my bed - today, I wake up in Minecraft on a small island of sand. It's not really the best place to be, in my opinion.
At first, I was very scared. I called out for someone - anyone - to rescue me from this nightmare, but of course no one came. And so that's when I decided to try and survive in this dangerous, new world. Hey, I may not have played Minecraft for a couple years, but I still remember how to do things!
I went over to the mainland that stood in front of me and began to chop down some trees with my bare hands. Strangely enough, it didn't seem to hurt me at all. Placing the planks I quickly crafted onto the ground, I began to build myself a quick-and-dirty wooden shelter.
By the time I was done building the shelter, it was midday and the square sun was shining directly above the earth. I was quickly running out of time before night came, so I crafted a wooden sword out of my remaining materials to prepare myself. After that, I proceeded to chop down a birch tree and use the planks I made from that to make the four other wooden tools I needed - an axe, a pickaxe, a shovel, and a hoe.
By the time all of this was said and done, the sun above me had not even come close to setting.
Now, I assured myself, I have everything I need to survive the first night.
