Hey, basically ill start a world play on it for a hour or so and then just delete the world completely to start a new world. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do you keep yourself limited to at least one world?
Try some mods, preferably ones you know nothing about. Mod packs like FTB are a good place to start. That is what really go me interested in Minecraft again.

Yeah, but with NEI (Not Enough Items), you can easily check the recipes for everything. For me, FTB was fun until I realized that pretty much everything existed only to make the game easier for the player. Maybe that's something you'd enjoy though. You should definitely give it a chance if you haven't already.
I know exactly how you feel with keeping an interest in one survival world. I suggest you find a good server that you'd enjoy. Servers give you access to a whole different experience than Single Player. You have to consider whether or not you want to build near other players or if you want to go far out. Maybe you'll run across griefers/thieves or maybe you'll run across other players who are willing/ want to build with you. If you do get griefed/stolen from/killed, a good server owner/moderator/op will know how to deal with the situation. There's also the aspect of being able to share your builds with other people, and maybe get inspiration from other peoples' builds. Either way, it's much more interesting and lively than single player. I for one, got bored of playing in single player once my first world got corrupted without me having made a backup. Even if you're just going to go 10,000 blocks from spawn, it's still really interesting playing on a server.
This challenge has kept me busy for a long time: Its called City Construction Challenge. It is really fun and challenging! If you don't want to, make a giant protective bunker filled with all your goods and emergency farms. This would be great due to the new update where if you stay in one area, the area gets harder and harder. Search YouTube and Google stuff! Maybe pixel art, a ship, anything. Your imagination is your only limit.

Automate everything.
I know my friend didn't know a thing about FTB and now he has a giant power plant.
