Well pooey with the bucket thing. Sorry if I ask a lot of questions. But, What catches a wooden house on fire? Should I make it in stone? Tips for building a house. OH, and what about torches and wooden houses?
Right now I kinda made a house/mine/hideout thing. So I can survive during nighttime.
If you craft a Flint & Steel, you can burn wood by right-clicking. If you get enough materials, I recommend you make a house out of stone bricks (which is crafted with four cobblestone in a square) or Nether Brick Block (You smelt Netherrack in a furnace to get a Nether Brick and use four of those to craft a Nether Brick Block, but you would have to travel into the Nether to get Netherrack.)
To go to the Nether, you need ten obsidian. To get obsidian, you have to craft a Diamond Pickaxe first. It'll take fourteen seconds to break one obsidian.
This is not made in the crafting table.

Oh come down off the high horse, if the OP had an avatar that showed them as a pimply faced fat guy teen no one would have even bothered to respond to mcpe questions being posted in the wrong section except perhaps to call them a noob. Instead this thread got how many responses just because the poster has the avatar of a non-ugly teen girl? Even though it was in the wrong section? Even though no one answering even had any idea how mcpe works?
Interesting as a social experiment to say the least, I've been watching this thing since it started wondering when it was finally going to die out. It actually made it to page two, wow, just wow...
Well may I add I'm new to this forum too. geesh. And well uh thanks for calling me "non-ugly".
6. You can also just craft a sword, charge at them, and then die. (Repeat as necessary).
6A - Charge at them
6B - If injured find cover or quickly place a couple of cobblestone or dirt in front of you to block the arrows until you heal.
6C - After healing either charge again or wait until the skeleton comes to you.
6D - Kill the skeleton with the sword.
I got minecraft pocket edition on my kindle. I know I know everyone says the Pc version is WAY better but I'm broke. Anyways. A few questions:
(1)What the hell are those things that keep shooting at me at night? Skeletons. They shoot faster in CQC, so try strafing around them or using a bow.
(2)Do zombies and other monsters come through wooden doors? Zombies can break down wooden doors on hard (Not sure if that's PC exclusive), but anything can get in if you use a pressure plate. Use buttons or levers instead.
(3)How do I collect water? If possible. Use a bucket. You craft it by putting 3 iron in a U shape.
(4)How do I keep away the zombies, spiders, creepers, etc.? Try digging big pits around your house so they fall it and burn in the sunlight (Zombies and Skellies) or get trapped. If you don't care about their drops, you can fill it with lava so they die. But their enhanced pathfinding may cause problems. Also try dispensers loaded with arrows, rigged to pressure plates with Redstone dust. You can find it deep down, but it can only be broken with an iron pickaxe.
