We are looking to add a server, and Anarchy was one option that came up.
No land protection, staff or rules. Obviously, not appropriate for children.
No kits either.
Does anyone out there think this would get many players?
I suspect you'll initially get quite a number of players…
The difficulty will be that they will fall into two main groups;
the first group will be people who want a "pure vanilla" SMP experience
the other group will be DaGriefers.
Unfortunately, unless Anarchy has at least some rules (or effectively screens applicants), the latter will quickly drive out the former…
WARNING: I have an extemely "grindy" playstyle; YMMV — if this doesn't seem fun to you, mine what you can from it & bin the rest.
Would some form of grief land claiming
ruin the experience?
Look up "2b2t.net".
Thats exactly what i was thinking...
But much newer, fresher with no waiting in queue.
Question is, would a "new server" get any players, or would anyone wanting that just go to the established server?
I would join
Out of curiosity, would you be looking for any type of protection against griefing, or let it all go like on 2b2t?
