I always carry a fire resist, especially in the nether, so this dosen't happen often.

You know what in the nether does kill you even when you have a fire resist?
One deep lava. Crunch, goodbye silk pick...

Today I had found a lava pit and was digging around it hoping to find diamonds. I quickly turned but fell in the lava. I tried to get my water bucket out but I was already down to one and a half hearts. I struggled to lay my water bucket down but I died and lost all the iron I had. I had so much that I was calling myself The Iron King. I also had some lapis lazuli block and one gold block and one iron block and full iron armor. Oh well. I restarted my world and deleted it. I HATE LAVA!!!!!

I once made myself a little walkway across a lava pool, then I spotted some redstone ore. I made my walkway turn to the wall, where the redstone was. I then attempted to mine it. I realized I was in a position where the redstone would just fall into the lava, so I took a step back... and died. I wasn't too angered though because I only had an iron pick and iron shovel, along with a stack of logs. I don't mind because I have loads of iron. I also live in a jungle, so the wood loss isn't that bad. I would have been angered though, if I had any sort of diamond tool or just regular diamonds.

Cry, stare at screen, cry some more, begin denial stage, then acceptance and finally respawn and do it all again.

Almost usually respawn and get all of my backups from the chests (I am very far along in my SSP world and have pretty much all of the materials you could ever imagine)

there's no option for being over-dramatic while doing anything else for the next hour.

Nothing makes me rage more than a creeper blowing up and knocking me back into the lava. I run back to recover any stuff that may have missed the lava and survived. I don't get mad and rage quit from the fact that I lost my stuff, I usually ragequit for an hour after however many or so times I have die from hostile mobs trying to run back to that spot like a noob with no armor.

question how I died with full fire protection armor.

and then go see a doctor about my mental stability, because that may be a bit low.

just make sure you have these items 4 stacks of ladder two diamond swords and 4 stacks of torch and food and a bed and a crafting taple and 9 stacks of wood planks any type and dont dig for more than 20 blocks straight down when you find a cave and its mid-night use planks to make a 3x3 square empty inside put bed and crafting table make door and its simple house simple house

I was once branch mining at layer 12 while holding down the W button. A pocket of lava appeared in the floor and I walked right into it. I just went back to my mine, and luckily saw that some of my stuff was laying on the block next to the lava.

If I fell into lava and lost everything in I would freak out, leave the world, and join back into the world 2 years later.

I would ragequit and delete my world and start a new one.

Sometimes I would do the same thing.

I hate it when this happens.

I probz stare at the 'U Died' screen 4 about 5 mins n just respawn. lol

I'd be upset, and take a break from the game for a few minutes. Afterwards, i'll go back to the world and gather the resources I need to replace my lost items.

The last time this happened to me (about a year ago) I restored a backup of my world and statistics; luckily I only lost around 6 hours of work ("work" just meaning exploring caves and mining them out, so not like I lost a build or anything; nowadays I use an Ender chest to store what I mine but ironically the most valuable stuff by far is what I am carrying in my inventory and wearing; the Ender chest is just for more storage space, not to safeguard against item loss). Of course, you can be sure that I avoided a repeat of the death, which happened when I jumped over a ridge in the floor of a cave - with a 1x1 hole and a drop into a deep lava lake on the other side, not visible until I fell in, and nowadays I always pour water down caves with visible lava and down the sides of lava-filled ravines (I go along the sides first unless they are shallow enough to jump up and put torches up), even if that means mobs can spawn at the bottom.
