I was going to do a Let's Play of this before I even made it a public challenge.
I've added the fridge idea to the end of the spoiling food rule. But remember, guys, it's a work in progress rule, so it needs some more ideas which may make it a bit easier to accomplish. Give us your thoughts.
There are so many rules. I don't think I will remember all of them during the challenge.

looks cool. you should get someone to make this a fully operational mod for you. now that would be cool. i might try it. i have been thinking of making a youtube channel, but i dont really know if i should/want to. if i do, and i like this challenge i might add it to my channel as a secondary series
Maybe you could ask for a modder to make it for you and give them a percent of the income via adfly or whatever form you use. and of course get the modder to stick with it and upgrade as upgrades are required

It's not hard to make a house. The roof mustn't be obscured (e.g. Underground city), the interior must be well lit and there must be walls, a roof and a door. The inside of the house is identified by the side of the door with more roof and the outside being the side of the door with no roof.
But if I were to make a tutorial on efficient housing, would you want it to be universal, or just to match with the building styles of my challenge?

I couldn't. If anyone happens to make a mod based off this challenge, all I ask for is credit for the idea or inspiration for the mod. Nothing more. If the modder intends on making money off it, they can go right ahead, but I won't take any of it just for coming up with this idea.

I suppose universal. However, considering your videos already often reach the 10 minute mark, and the concept is so simple, you could probably do both a universal and a "themed" tutorial in one video.

Probably. And usually, I tend to go for 15 minutes, but sometimes I forget to start my timer to rap up the episodes until about 3-5 mins in and then it goes up to 20 minutes. Oh and I think instead of universal (because there's no universal building style to minecraft...nothing goes with everything) I will just make a few biome-related structures that work, like desert and tundra. As well as a style that works with the plains NPC villages. I dunno. Just maybe a few styles. I could even split it up into a bunch of videos. Different kinds of buildings in each video and one video for each biome or group of biomes that style of building matches. What do you think?

Why use Too Many items mod? You add all these silly rules of build a village, on SURVIVAL, but your using mods that GIVE you items. Might as well do this on creative.
Read more closely. Meant for 1.3. In 1.3, you can spawn items in through creative mode, then switch to survival. Duhh? You only need something like toomanyitems or single player commands if you want to do the challenge NOW.

Defender- Successfully defend your village against a zombie siege by any means necessary. 5 extra points for ever 3 zombies killed by YOU, 10 extra points for every 10 villagers in your community during the attack. (30) Note- NO villagers may die for this achievement to be valid.
