I know when a villager dies near other villagers, the villagers won't breed for 3 minutes. That doesn't seem like a big deal to me. But sometimes when I clear out my villager organizer, I end up not getting another villagers for quite some time, so I can't help but wonder if the penalty stacks or not. So whenever a villager gets hit or dies, do villagers not want to breed for a MAX of 3 minutes, or if 3 villagers die will they not breed for 9 minutes?
The penalty does not stack, the timer simply resets back to 3 minutes. Actual breeding is random, though, and an individual villager can't breed for five minutes after the previous breeding, so it might take longer than the initial three minutes, sometimes.
