What do you think is the best mob in minecraft? This could be for any reason, wether it's companionship or resources if your'e more materialistic, or even how it looks and sounds.
i picked wolf, but they are really annoying with xp traps. I did have 10 wolves, now 4 since creepers/clifs/killer cats/my own anger/ pigs keeps killing them.
food (albeit junk food)
iron tools and weps
potatoes
carrots
the occasional zombie villager
Testificates give you pretty much anything you need. Including defense, in the form of iron golems. You watch my back I'll watch yours.
Nether skellies give you bones and coal, and a crappy weapon if you need one to keep killing them. The head is probably too rare to count the skelly as the "best mob" - although beacons are sure useful.
I'd say in order of total usefulness, cost-effectiveness, and variety:
Zombies > testificates > mooshrooms > nether skellies > regular skellies. In vanilla survival on normal or harder difficulty, zombies pull ahead with their all-round utility as a cheap food source and vital iron source.
Personally mine is the pig!
You can do almost anything.

I'm also known as TANNAR in some places.

Mushroom cows: mushrooms, mushroom soup, leather, beef, milk (when sheared).

Either way, I really like the End mobs. They have an interesting theme to them.
Sorry, I didn't think that anyone would like hostile mobs.
