I have a single player Tekkit survival mode world. I have a quarry about 200m away from my home. It doesn't work unless I physically go out there and look at it. Then I have to go back home to unload the ender chests I'm using to transport the materials.
Also having the same issue with the Nether. I am pulling in the lava cells being produced in the Nether for power in the overworld. What can be done about this? Do I need to convert it to a server? I would like it to function on its own without me having to go out there and back. (Interested in doing oil refining and they are all about 200m+ away from my home.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Try searching for dimensional anchors on the tekkit wiki too, the recipe is much cheaper from memory. Oh one more thing, none of them will keep nether chunks loaded whilst in the overworld, being two seperate maps. btw welcome to the forums :)from memory it will only keep nether chunks loaded while in the overworld in smp, but at least one player must be present in each dimension.so if you could set it as a server for yourself with a permenant afk steve in the nether you would be sweet. unsure of how you would go about that thoughoh and dont use an eu reader on it it will crash minecraft lol bit of a heads up there
