I went in too a small cave that goes about 20 blocks under ground then stop I start mining iron and then mine some of the stone and I kept mining and a silver fish came out of every block I mined what does it mean please help is it normal or near a strong hold or what?Oh and I hear some noses around that area.

Same but i mined around the area and found nothing. I think that this is one of the features of the recent update.

You could try mining around the area for a bit?

I also hear noses in that area.Thats what I am doing.

Do you see any stone bricks?

Also were you in a Extreme Hills biome?

Silverfish blocks do now randomly spawn underground, but they are at an average frequency of about 1 per chunk. If you have lots, it's probably a stronghold.

Ok so far I have fought around 14 and the more I mine the more they come.

You hear noses? Is it sniffling or sneezing? But yeah, just keep digging around and see if you find anything. Also, glad to know silverfish now spawn randomly, I would have had a heart attack if I found one while I was mining.

And its more of a hill biome not really a extreme biome there is a few hills and then its plains.

The biome shouldn't matter. Are you close to where you spawned? If you are it's probably not a stronghold. If you do find a stronghold, post the seed! Use /seed in game.

I think its just a large spawn of them cuz I killed one and the noses stopped plus there is not really any more spawning.And I have walked awhile since they spawned.

But I am gonna keep looking for it as i work on my mine I will let you guys know if I find any thing.

Silverfish now spawn in Extreme Hills biomes in dark areas. If the biome had teal coloured grass and hills, it's an extreme hills biome.

Oh i did not know that splverfish stones appear naturally not near a stronghold..I so freaked out when i saw a silverfish in my mine in my private MP server with my friend xD

I hear a lot of noises and i minecraft around 5-10 blocks of silverfish...
