When I first played, the thing that scared me was when I dug straight down and into redstone and thought that it was either a magma block or was going to explode.
My jump scare was when I saw Herobrine (I was in beta 1.0 somehow like that day in by October 2010) and I thought like "I'm not in multiplayer? So what is that?!" I got closer to it.. and it told me "I'm watching you" and it dissapeared. Me, quickly deleting my world I entered my new world with a sign popping up right in my spawn point.. told me "You shouldn't have done that" I was like "Holly molly what the fudge!!!!!!" that was the horribliest thing ever happened to me in minecraft survival.
I was scared when i went outside of my house and a green thing came at me i though it was a new passive mob that likes your person but then it blew me up and i did research on it and relized i met a creeper
When they first added fishing rods, I truly feared that they were going to add giant horrifying monstrous fish that would slaughter you if you caught it. But two years later, nada...
I was pertty fearless the only thing that scared me were caves and when you would turn around and hear ssssssssssssss! Also when i was in 1.0, i was looking around i saw a figure, and im like A new mob! I go up to it it disapears randomly im like ????????????, i delete the world start a new one then after about 3 nights i instanely die with all my stuff gone from chests, and there was no evidence of explosions and i respawned where my bed was, AND IT WAS GONE! and thats y i was scared of herobrine until 1.2
Endermen kept me in peaceful mode for a few weeks after my first encounter.
I can give some serious advice for any newbies.
DO NOT PROVOKE AN ENDERMAN AT 12:45 AT NIGHT
Honestly, I nearly freaked out when I saw him open his mouth. I started to panic when he disappeared. A few seconds later, he reappeared behind me and killed me.
When I first started playing, I would usually spend my first few nights dug into the side of a hill. In the morning, upon walking outside, mobs would drop from above and scare the living out of poor n00b me.
Hah...Well i rarely play in First person because when i was a newbie in Minecraft.I saw a Herobrine screamer. Now i'm scared for life,Scared to turn off to First person (only when aiming with a bow/pvping/mining precisely).
