Always if i create a world with survival and put it on superflat mode there is always a village near by where your spawning area. i love to go and steal from them and defeat all of the villagers. But why have different clothing and why would they not defend themselves? I always have to help them with zombies and creepers, but they always die. When i was defeating all of them they just turned around and stared.
So having different colours of clothes that means the villagers are stupid? And the only problem that the villagers have is the zombies, never the creepers. And villagers have Iron Golems to protect them.
villages only spawn in certain biomes, and superflats only have one biome, and considering that that one biome villages can spawn on, they use the "superflat" perk of the world to spawn in the highest possible concentrations. and to praise bod owens up here, the villagers clothes have a meaning, each one has a role in the village. pink i believe, dont hold me to my word on this, is a blacksmith, and white are priests. and they do not have any coding that allows for self defense. and as long as you didnt destroy there houses, they wouldnt need any help at night. they also dont have any coding that makes them perform actions that would punish you from killing there friends.
