Tip 1: Don't build a hole house out of diamond/ gold blocks - it looks ugly.
Tip 2: You can obtain higher enchantments by putting bookshelves around your enchanting table (Lots of people already know this).
Tip 3: If you are struggling to find iron, use your stone pick for everything like cobble and coal and if you find something rare use your iron pick like diamond gold etc.
Tp 4: If your house is on a Jungle tree don't make ladders for the tree, the vines grow longer after a short period of time.
Tip 5: Don't waist your time trying to break obsidian with a wood, stone or iron pick.
Tip 6: don' try to kill a lot of creepers near/ next to a building you have created (Obvious why you don't do this)
(This was suggested by someone in the comments).
Tip 7: Don't run inside a village house if getting chased by zombies because they can break down the door.
Tip 8: Cobblestone and Stone go well in a checkered pattern.
Tip 9: Don't sleep in the neather, there's a %100 that it will go B00M!
Tip 10: There is practically no use of neatherack as it cannot be crafted into anything as of this update - 1.3.2 and I don't think it goes good with any other blocks.

I use the netherrack for street lamps/torches. Two or three fence posts and a block of netherrack. One post every five meters along the street. Just keep them a couple of blocks away from your house roofs of your village
Netherack can be turned into nether bricks and then nether stairs and fences
Incorrect. Netherbrick cannot be crafted; it must be obtained from nether fortresses.
But I disagree with OP that Netherwrack is useless. Does the whole "infinitely burning" thing not seem useful? I use them to make toggle-able nether portals, fireplaces, etc. I do think it needs more uses though.
Ok guide. I still prefer remembering practically the entire wiki though. Something to do at school, and I can pretend to be smarter than I actually am

Over 90 % of the human population is stupid (in my honest opinion). Don't expect too much from them when you post something that actually involves thought.
