Ok so i am making a blaze farm design, the problem is that with the new game mecanics the blaze will die as zombies die in my world in the killing area because of the new 32 /42 idk limit of entities per block .
So i am asking if anybody found a solution for this ?
Personally i have found a solution to the zombie spawner just buy extending out the killing platfrom with 1-2 blocks and extending the end of the funnel with 1 block so they can't see you.
With blaze is a nother story because if you extend the killing platform you will 100% die burning
Can you take screenshots of the build you have setup?
Also about the entity problem. I cannot follow 90% of what you just explained about the mobs / items dropping (those are entities I think.)
ok so there is a new rulle ... when you funnel the mobs in 1 block to kill them , if the number gets over a number they will automaticly get killed by the game so you can't get them in one place anymore .. get it ? as i said i found a solution to this in the zombie spawners .... but with blaze is harder .
so i put you a picture of my solution , instead of having them in 1 block and losing a lot of valuble xp i put them like that , extending the kill platform with 1-2 blocks , so i was asking if you can find an solution to blazes
Yes, its a game rule called MaxCrammingEntity or something that was set to 0 (Infinite) but since one of the recent updates has been set to 20, so if more than 20 mobs occupy the same block space, the game auto kills them until its back under 20. I have just found a new blaze spawner in the ideal location, so I am wondering what to do as my older MumboJumo farm is a typical example of how this new rule effects farms like this with a single block collection point. I believe you can change the rule and set it back to 0 (or a number much greater than 20), or possibly look at using a weighted pressure plate (an item I've never used, so I don't know if its suitable) to turn off the farm til you kill some of the mobs ...
