I was playing over the LAN with my brother, and we made an average house with two mines and a garden near the spawn. What happened was one night, the creepers spawned, well, a lot. We had a bunch of diamonds, and we wanted a music disc, so that we could create a jukebox (so we actually had something to use in the jukebox, we hadn't created it yet, though) and has we tried, we eventually game up and killed the skeletons. We realized how hungry we were, so we went to get some wheat from the garden, yet a creeper sneaked up on my brother and blew up. Just a couple seconds a creeper sneaked up behind me and blew me up, and part of our garden.

Had to quit playing for a few days before I felt like starting over.

I remember I had like OVER 50 Diamonds and died in LAVA, I quit for about a week

The worst way I have ever died was when I played on a Faction Server. I created my faction, the silverhawks, and built a giant fort out of bricks, the same shape as a nether fort. We had everything we needed. A pig spawner, 10 TNT cannons,an infinite cobblestone spawner. Everything. One day I went out to collect wood. We used mods to make out usernames disappear. They thought I was from another faction, comming to raid the fort, and they shot TNT cannons at me!!! Even worse, when a faction came with diamond armor(the rich faction) we did not have enough TNT to use or cannons on them! So we lost EVERYTHING!!!!!Fail.

Well, actually, most of the stuff we had was in our chests, like our diamonds, because we knew it was good to do that. And even if we did die with our diamonds in our inventory, it wouldn't be hard to get them, seeing as though the house was near our spawn. Still surprising and bad to have both of us die by two separate ninja creepers

worst death ever jumping off my apartment 2 take a pic apparently i forgot 2 put the rail on so i fell 2my doom and I survived! only 2 be blown up by a creeper i was in hardcore mode 2!

How big was the house, You should make backups of hardcore worlds

I found epic diamonds and red stone but then I found a cave behind the dimonds with massive obsidian then I looked at my clock which the sun was setting then I had two diamond picks and diamond armor and two full stacks of torches 24 diamond then I had a couple of 15 obsidian I decided to stay in the cave for the night so I built a little hidey hole (not so little) it was 89 minecraft feet and 3 blocks high (never souldve done that) then I put some iron (64 pices) then I waned to make a iron pick so by accident i took all the iron and then ENDERMAN APOLACYPSE 15 enderman no escape and the i but killed one I tried to fill the roof with cobble but,too late died like a spy chicken (paulsoaresjr big fan) and now I'm left homeless and live in a hidey hole stinking enderman and I was RECORDING

Same here, except I was teleporting on a laggy server instead. I wish it would load the chunks BEFORE dumping you into the world.

The chunk error is the reason for 1.3 server lag

i found 8 diamonds, as i was mining it i didnt see a hole...... and i fell into lava

Shot an arrow at an Endermen while I was on tall, pillar of land, it teleported right behind me, and shoved me right off, killing me, then it died right after me. Not really the worst way I've died, but funny nonetheless.

Getting lost at night in hardcore with nothing but near broken stone swords.

Was mining diamond, and a creeper exploded behind me. I ran with my diamond and half a heart, and a skeleton finished me off. Damn bones...

Creeper got into my massive house (New AI is obviously to blame) and in my chest room explodes. Half of the chests were destroyed.

Forgetting to hold shift whilst building a bridge in the Nether.

Slime dance party.... I got crushed to death
