I started a new village in a new 1.3 world, inhabited by a mix of egg-created villagers & kidnapped ones from the local village. They were always a little dumb, but now they're just retarded! They climb stairs & just walk off, & go in the water under the bridge & get stuck. The Iron Golems are even worse. They all seem to flock to the river in front of my house, rendering them completely useless. They don't even go after mobs when they're in the water. They look like they're having a damn hottub party. Did they dumb them down even worse?

Well they still act dumb, but atleast they don't wonder off anymore. atleast for me, I have built a town and had 5 villigers, after a while they were still all there even with a kid, when normally before they would all be gone.

iron golems cant swim so they wont attack mobs in water and the villagers haven't been changed except that they stay in the villages for the houses. if you were stuck in a village for life what would you do? would you have fun, or just sit in a house or on the road?

I know they can't swim, but they don't even walk back out. The water is only 1-2 blocks deep, but they just break down & stop moving. I have to whack them with my knockback sword, which they don't even come at me for. They used to chase me down, now they just stand there.

are you using 1.3 or 1.3.1 because, there is a difference and just wait till 1.3.2 comes out and some bugs should be munched out
