I want to know if there is a way to lock the difficulty in minecraft. My little sister is starting to play minecraft but she always plays on peaceful. She has founds diamonds, lapis and emeralds on her own but she's still too scared to face a zombie. So I wanna try and see if there's a way to lock the difficulty setting to normal or at least easy. I want her to learn to play it the way it's meant to be played. Please help
Personally I think the OP should be forced to spend his time building relatively complex redstone circuits, such as a 16 button code lock. That is how the game should be played, because that is how I play it and the ability to do so is in the game code.

I have tried making redstone circuits. I enjoy using redstone in my farms and stuff.

That's not the point of his post. The point he was making is that (sarcastically) he should be able to make people play how he thinks the game should be played- with lots of complicated redstone contraptions.

Why don't you let her play it the way it's meant to be played? (How she want's to play it) Instead of being so mean, and possibly driving her away from the game
she only plays singleplayer
findmake a mod that does this for you. The only way to lock difficulty is to play on hardcore......Or you could not be a **** and let her play a sandbox game in any way she sees fit, which is kind of the point of a sandbox game.
Heh, I kinda agree with this guy
I see why you guys think I'm being a ****, but I just wanted her to get used to it.
She's too scared to try.
She'll probably decide to do it on her own when the game gets a bit too boring for her. When she's playing it, it's her game to play, not yours.
