Ok, so this thread is about my fail in survival mode.
So, I wanted some experience levels so I could upgrade my bow to Power V. I decided, "imma make an enderman XP grinder!!!!!!!!". I already had a skeleton trap but it took a long time to get a decent amount of XP. I thought about it for a while, and then I knew what I would do....use Endermites. I gathered my supplies and jumped on my horse. Endermites disappear after 2 minutes so I brought 2 name tags. As I was riding my horse towards the stronghold, me being the idiot I am rode my horse right into a river. I tried to push him towards land but he kept kicking and was being a pain in the neck. I finally pushed him to shallow water and right clicked him. I didn't mount him. I tried again. I didn't mount him again. The third time I tried, I mounted him. So I decided to get to the stronghold as soon as possible because the sun wasn't going to be up for long. As I was riding him, I realized my name tags were GONE. I opened my inventory, and they weren't there. I dismounted and then realized....my horse had a name floating over him. I wasted both my name tags on my horse. So I returned home, with no more nametags, and to live with the shame of my horse being named "Endermite".

Wow... That certainly was a huge fail.
I remember once when I first got my elytra.
(Cue flashback)
------------------------------
It was a wonderful minecraft morning, and I had come back from the end with my elytra. I was so proud of myself. I saw some mobs still alive, and I decided to replace my elytra with my diamond chestplate. I killed a few skeletons for my bow, which I had got an infinity enchantment for on that trip, and was heading home to enchant my bow with it on my anvil. I got my infinity bow, and I decided to go for an morning fly. I was living on a mountain, you see. "I'd better glide over that lava", I thought, as I walked to the edge. I jumped off, and hit the spacebar. Nothing happened. I plummeted to my doom and died. I had forgotten to put my Elytra back on after the mob fight.
Another time, I was thinking of taking a glide, and I placed my Elytra in the left hand slot instead of the chestplate slot. Again, I died.

I can kind of relate to this.
I am building a 3rd floor to my house, and it has a balcony. Every time I need to get resources, I fly down to get some. But sometimes I jump off wearing my iron chestplate and fall 3 stories down. Every single darn time I jump I always forget to put on my wings.
Its always a good idea to avoid trying to opening doors and chests or click levers and buttons with a lava bucket selected too...found that out the hard way a few times over the years.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
