What is your favorite biome?

Why?


I like plains because I like the way it looks, you cant get lost, theres lots of chickens, (generally) and it's easier to build on because its so flat.

Edit: I didn't include mushroom biomes because thats a no brainer.

I will add the ocean biome because I just realized that ocean biomes include small islands, and not just ocean.

You forgot Mooshroom and Ocean biomes, dude.

Anyway, of the options I prefer Forests because I mostly build underground, but it has nice grass/leaves/vines/etc colors and Snow Golems don't melt.

I like plains because you can far and see if mister creeper is paying a visit.

LOL, who voted for extreme hills? God I hate them. The're so damn ugly!

Plus, theres too many open caves, and the skeletons stand at the edge and shoot you, even in the daytime.

I just love Taiga. Dark wood, snow, no noisy rain.

I voted in the ocean because i'm an explorer, island per island has something new to pick up.

Dont you get lost out there? lol

Either extreme hills or taiga. Extreme hills kind of suck to build on, although having a mountain house is cool sometimes.

Wow cool poll. I thought extreme hills would win by a landslide since most of the other biomes have such boring geometry.

Extreme hills are awesome for putting houses into, but I still pick plains just cause of how nice and orderly they are.

I already said in my edit, that i didnt put in mushroom biomes because

1: they would obviously get all the votes because of infinite food and no monsters

and

2: most people havent ever even been on one because they are so rare (like myself)

My favourite would have to be Extreme Hills. Beautiful generation, opportunity's for unique crazy houses, and just recently emeralds spawn in these biomes now.

yeah, they did make emralds spawn in extreme hills, but i really dont like the hills. I like the open countryside and abundant animals in the plains. I also like the fact that villages spawn there the most.

It also is alot easier to see animals and monsters from a long way away.

I guess i just like building big castles, and expanding villages, and plains is good for both.

I like the tundra just because I think it looks beautiful. It's not an ideal starting location because of the lack of trees, however.

They should let you build big boats that use redstone powered propellers to go, and the more you have, the faster you go!

You should be able to make a boat-house, and then have a chest of maps and gold.

it should be the piratecraft update! lol
