Pretty damn small seen as my first world was WAY back in INDEV, gawd i wish that version would come back, it was so much more challenging than minecraft as of now, I don't think i've died in my main singleplayer world yet, I play on hard, and if I've got full iron armor i can take on hordes of mobs, good luck doing that back in indev!
I never got to play in indev. I’ve played in alpha thanks to McNostalgia. How was it different from alpha?
I can't remember exactly, it was like in 1.5 or something.
Well..
I had a nice snowy world. I found a really tall mountain, that's where I decided to make my house. (I kind of knew alot for a noob because I watched "how to survive your first night" videos, lol or else I would have died pretty quick..)
I think it was plain cobblestone, it wasn't very big. It was like 6x6. It had open windows because I haven't discovered how to make glass yet . It was 3 floors, first was the kitchen, second was the bedroom, and the top was wide open. I just sat up there and shot things when I got bored .
I made a LONG staircase down to the bottom of the mountain, and put a farm there. I had a very small basement that connected to my staircase. It was very nice . I always saw wolves running around in my world, I saw them killing sheep all the time, I thought they might try to kill ME if I got too close, so I stayed away.
One day I got brave and went up to one, it didn't hurt me, so I got closer. I thought I could pet it.....So I accidently punched it......>.> The whole pack came after me, I got scared and ran alllll the way back home. Ever since then I thought wolves were evil. At night I was kind of goofing around, and I was pretending that sheep were my friends.....(It got lonley, ok!) I started this thing where I killed every wolf I found, and at night I would place torches and dance with the sheep. LOL it was fun.
Then finally after playing for a week or so, I was curious so I read the wiki about minecraft wolves....I found out that you could tame them, so I got on my world and looked for sooooo long,I couldn't find any! Ever since that I haven't been able to find wolves (In that world). It made me mad, and I felt real stupid for killing them. *facepalm*..
I built a few more things then ragequitted, deleted the world because I wanted a cute little pet wolf. (fml)
My first worlds were just running around trying to find coal, but my first productive world was in 1.7, cracked. (umad?) It was on peaceful, because I was scared of mobs at the time, and I made a house into a little hill. I dug down to bedrock, and made a fail staircase up the mine that made giant walls along it. Next, I found diamonds and made diamond tools, and then I got bored of minecraft for a while and just kept up with development until the adventure update and then bought the game. I actually still have that world, luckily.
I joined in 1.0.0. I joined because my friends were like "Play this awesome game."
I joined and didn't know much, so I kept asking them how to make stuff. On my first night I had a small hut and a staircase down in that hut. The 2nd night I figured out how to make torches...
After much time I got bored of hunting for diamonds, so I found a duplication glitch (Little did I know that would make my world boring.) I made a lot of picks and armor. Then I dug a 25x25 hole down to bedrock.
Don't play it much. Still love/hate it, but can never bring myself to delete it.
Started on a little dirt hill facing 5 mountains and an almost never ending Taiga biome on the other side. And every other direction was an ocean I gave up trying to cross

My first world had nothing to it.Started in 1.2 walked until sunset gathered up just enough wood build a roofless, walked out in the middle of night, got killed, ran forever looking for my stuff, and rage quit delete
I still have my first ever world from Beta 1.2. I sometimes play on it to feel nostalgic, especially when the music comes on.
When I first created that world, I spawned in a old biome called a "rainforest" if I remember correctly. And built my house right next to the spawn.
Now, I have a new main world made back in 1.0.0 that I play on more often.

When life gives you MELONS, you're probably dyslexic because the text actually says "LEMONS".
I started in Alpha 1.2, right before the biome-update. The very first world i made i played on for about 30 minutes. The second night I looked down on a spider from my half-finished house and thought that it couldnt be THAT hard to fight a spider. It turned out it was, and I spawned back at the start, with no clue where my house was. I ragequited and deleted the world
My first proper world I played on for two-three months or so. I had a house on the top of a mountain with farms for wheat, cactus and sugar canes. At the foot of the mountain I had a spider-proof house, a house with cacti all around it, and sand with a ladder on top of the cacti so the spider couldnt climb over, a very simple mob-trap which I learned to build form one of Paul Soares Jr.'s tutorials, a crappy looking castle made entirely out of cobblestone with the old, ugly texture and a simple Minecart-station, with the old minecart-boosters. I had "secret pasages" and tunnels under the ground which connected all the buildings underground, so I didnt have to move outside. I also had a little sandstone-building too with all my gold and my 20 or so diamonds which I was so proud of. At the other side of the mountain I had huge, wooden tower all the way up to the sky limits, with small water-pools all around at ground level. When I was bored I used to jump of the tower and tryed to hit the water pools
Instead of making a new world when I was bored of the old location and stuff, I just moved to a new area in that world. Therefor I can talk and talk endlessly about all the bases and houses and buildings I maded at that world, and I played on it a really long time, until it got deleted when my old computer crashed
My experience in Minecraft when I first started was actually very similar to this, I started 1 day before Minecraft beta 1.7. I have seen a tutorial on Minecraft before I played though,I stopped playing survival singleplayer when I lost my worlds I had so much progress on took me weeks so I build in creative and play on SMP PvP servers now and I also try out mods and maps.
Hmm, I'm pretty sure my world was just generic. Spawned in a nearly empty field with a couple of trees. Beyond that, I don't think there was anything extraordinary about it.
Sometime before 1.6. I have no clue which update it was, but it somewhere before then. Just a simple world with a few puddles, and this huge hill I became hell-bent on making house in. It had glass on top and the front wall so I could view the landscape. After finishing it, I dug a three deep pit about 7x14 and torched it so I would have a constant supply of animals. The mine wasn't a experience, though, because I got lost and popped up some place miles away and had to dig up redstone to make a compass. All in all, it was typical beginner's house. I miss that world now. It got deleted when we had the computer wiped of any information because of viruses.
