Are you bored? Do you like outwitting people? Do you like things that go boom? If so, then you're in luck! Introducing the new game...
Blow Up Redstone Players!
Also known as BURP for short.
Setup: The first step is to construct the Floor And Redstone Torch (FART), which is a 7x10 flat area with a redstone torch in one corner, and a redstone inverter in the other corner. One block diagonally out from the two aforementioned corners has a normal torch in it, for lighting. The rest of the floor is then covered in redstone powder, looking something like this:
:RFlower:: Redstone torch
:--+:: Normal torch
:Red:: Redstone powder
:YFlower:: Input to redstone inverter
Also, build two seats near the board for each of the players. These should have a nice cushy block of TNT to sit right on top of. Wire the output of the inverter to both seats' TNT. As long as there's a path for power to flow from the torch to the inverter, the TNT stays intact. If one player cuts power off to the inverter, their superior skill blows their opponent's mind... up.
Gameplay: Once the FART is constructed, players take turns destroying one piece of lit redstone powder per turn. You can't destroy unlitredstone powder, nor can you place anything new on the FART.
Variations:
[*:2nryev2z]Have a chest nearby for players to deposit their stakes in. Now there's even more than just your life on the line!
[*:2nryev2z]Construct more than two seats, and have three or more players take turns! Now BURPing can be fun for the whole family!
[*:2nryev2z]Instead of blowing each other up, wire the inverter to cannons aimed at the players' houses. Now you can BURP and play Jenga at the same time!
[*:2nryev2z]Build special seats with water going to the TNT, so that you don't have to rebuild the seats!
[*:2nryev2z]Nobody said you couldn't build only 7x10 rectangular FARTs. You could easily do a variant with FARTs of different shapes, or with multiple redstone torches, or even multiple levels! Now you can BURP in 3d!
Conclusion:
BURPing is lots of fun for everyone! Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to make a FART and BURP with friends and family for hours of fun and entertainment!

Sanity is a carrot. You find it green and easy to find, but the deeper you go, it turns funny colors and narrows down to nothing.
You could even make it a gambling game, like put the chest off to the side and each player puts a couple diamonds or a stack of iron or armor or whatever in then the winner gets the rewards

Brilliant. Things like this make me proud of Minecraft.
Thank you! :happy.gif:
I'm thinking about making a Java applet of this game; does anyone know if Java applets can be embedded in posts here?

Good idea! I'll have one up once I rebuild my FART. On a completely, entirely unrelated note, creepers think redstone wires are potato chips: Can't blow up just one...
