Everybody brings a set of certain things with them when they go away from their house. When you go adventuring or mining, what do you bring?
For me, I bring:
:Bench:- for obvious reasons. Crafting tools and food, etc.
- while I mine, i need to smelt some iron for pickaxes.
Bed - If I don't wanna fight monsters while I explore, I usually set up a small camp.
Arrows - for protection
Wood - used for tools, housing, etc. Only break it down into planks when neccesary.
Bones - For wolves and some bonemeal for crops.
Full set of tools- diamond sword, bow, pick, shovel, axe, fishing rod, and a diamond pimpcane (hoe).
Bucket of Water - Definitely, an essential. It's very useful for climbing up high edges when used as scaffolding, and it will save you're life, pushing away monsters or solidifying lava.
Torches - Obvious necessity.
2 stone pickaxes
1 iron pick
1 diamond pick
my diamond sword
an XM8 with 2 clips
a M9 beretta with 3 clips
a stack of dirt
a stack of torches
lots of planks
some food (5-8 porkchop)
and ofcourse armor
hotkeys for me are:
5-8. building material or other tools
For my inventory, I always carry a crafting table, a stack of sticks, a stack of coal, and zombie meat as my emergency food supply. I'm not real big on risks so zombie meat fills me up fast so I can heal and then get home where the real food is. I also always have stacks of some kind of block.
Worth while thread even though it was resurrected after a year.
But if I am going exploring in the overworld I like to bring enough obsidian and a flint and steel with me to make a Nether portal to get back home quicker, sometimes the portal will just connect to an already existing one so you get back home super quick, or it doesn't and you need to decide if you want to walk to a familiar part of the Nether or go back in the overworld.
