endermen have never scared me but i was playing a adventure map called skull island challenge with a new texture pack its a cool pack but i had never seen a enderman in it so im in the water and it just teleports right in front of my from no where and it has REALLY SHARP TEETH and it was there for a mill-second my little brother is next to me and i SCREAM at the top ofmy lungs it was so funny XD

I was scared of them before they were even added to the game. I heard that there would be a new mob that can move blocks and could teleport, and was so scared that I spent weeks preparing for a mob that would exceed the hostility of creepers. When I first found an enderman, I was disappionted with its stupidity. I felt stupid afterwards.
This is kinda funny. I was looking at an enderman and I was marveling on how cute it was. (Yes I think they're cute) Then its jaw opened and I jumped out of my chair.... I was sprinting away to my cave (I was at a loss on how to build a house, so I stuck with a cave on my first world) and the damn thing teleported into my cave and had a piece of stone in its hand. I died xD
The first time I saw an enderman, I knew little about it. As it slowly took apart my dirt house, I quickly wiki'd it, and found out I shouldn't look at it. My heart was beating. I had no weapons, and no experience fighting the black beasts. Eventually, I let him go, and hid in my mines, in fear, for days, until his screeching stopped, and my house lay scattered on the island I lived on.
this happend just before i posted this comment:
it was night and i went back to my "hidey hole"
then i remembered: hey i still need string!
so i went out with my iron sword stone pick and 20 torches.
i was walking a while as i suddenly see 2 endermen!
i remembered what i got told: NEVER LOOK INTO THEIR EYES!
so i walked calmly back as my small brother pushed my arm (thanx alot bro T.T)
and i looked exactly in its eyes (O_O)
i ran for it, but i didnt turn arround,cause i remembered also that if you turn arround they can teleport even closer to you and strike you down faster.
i ran backwards, i ran and ran...
at last i reached my home!
i ran in the gate closed it keeping always the enderman in sight whop was hunting me.
i went inside, closed the door heared the enderman teleport behind me and as fast as possible i went to bed.
whew.
that was close i thought.
next morning i woke up.
and the enderman was infront of my door...
i dont know what happend but i think it recognised me and teleported near me.
I JUST HAVE NO IDEA WHERE!
good that my room wasnt big or i would have been screwed.
it was 3 blocks high.
i bet its waiting ontop of my roof for me.

ANY HINTS WHAT TO DO?
Go out and fight it. Since it is near your home, if you die, just recover your items. No luck if you are on hardcore
