I have underground mineshaft which reaches to bedrock and i can't find slimes in it. I do have few caves (below layer 40),but there's no slimes, i also made a big room with torches on the walls, but no luck. What did i do wrong ?

You will probably need to AFK until you see some slimes. And you need to be...I think, at least 24 blocks away from your slime chunk for them to spawn, like don't stand right in it cause you wont see anything. It helps if you hallow out the entire chunk, and light it up and light up all caves around it. Also if you wanna make it a farm you can build platforms going up.
To have a slime chunk actually work worth a damn, you need to walk out 128 blocks in every direction from where you want to stand and watch things happen. Inside this 128x128 block area, from the surface all the way down to bedrock, has to be lit up so that creepers, skeletons, witches, and zombies cannot spawn. Additionally, if there are other slime chunks in this area that you do not want to develop into slime farms you will need to half-slab or cover all flat surfaces with water because slimechunk slimes can spawn in any light level.
The more you do the above, the faster the slimes will spawn. Keep in mind, however, that even at its best the spawn rate isn't going to be as good as a generic mob grinder would be in the same situation.
No, the chunk is 16X16, so no point in making it larger.
Unless you are making several floors, if so make each one at least 2,5 blocks high, if you go for 2,5 then the halfslab floor has to be in the upper half of its block. Or if you have several slimechunks next to each other.
But any unlit caves in the 258X258X256 area around you (128 blocks in every direction) will allow other mobs to spawn.
Actually, that's a sphere with radius 128 meters, not a cube.
Also, they'll be spawning on the surface at night if it's less than 128 blocks up and not water.
The more mobs there are in other places the fewer will spawn where you want them.
Also, since slimes spawn even in lit caves (under level 40) you'd have to use halfslabs or water or something in caves and such in other slime chunks if you want to stop slimes from spawning there.
Slimes are one of those things that I've always figured on having trouble finding. I use sticky pistons on my XP farms to close the drop shaft. But I always seem to find them by accident. They make a pretty distinctive noise, and then there are the green particles that drop through the roof when you are under one. Just do a lot of mining, and keep your eyes and ears open. The swamp thing is always a good bet.

If you really can't find anything, you can just go find a swamp and wait till it's night. Slimes will spawn there

But not if the moon is new.
The closer it is to a full moon the more likely slimes are to spawn in a swamp.
Just testing.

Here's my slime "spot" so i'm waiting:
I don't know about mineshaft size, they are catacombs in it (big halls, some caves)...

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
