Whoops my bad. I thought on laptops it wasn't really possible to get a better graphics card because of the confined space, which is why the manufacturer used an integrated one?

I have: 1.5ghz single core
778mb Intel HD Graphics Card
2GB RAM
And I get max fps on normal view.
Its Advanced OpenGL, I have no idea what it does but I turned it on and while it still takes a little bit to display everything on normal I'm not getting the insane lag that I normally would, maybe whenever I get those other performance increasing mods it will work even better, thanks for the tip!
Edit: I also have to say that enabling normal view distance caused me to see the most depressing sight I have seen in minecraft yet. I look into the distance at my tower, which I built with stone but gave it a wood roof and there is a lava flow inside of it completely encased in glass.. and somehow the roof has caught fire and all my work is burning up before my eyes T_T

- Clear your cache, history, etc..
- Scan your computer for viruses
- Let your laptop run on the battery life, than plug it in and stop playing until charged, repeat [very helpful]
- Re-install Java/Minecraft
- Get rid of unused programs, pictures, documents, etc..
- Turn off unneeded programs while running MineCraft
- Set your other settings to have the best performance {obvious}
