Hello! I'm KillerPixie and this is my survival journal. It will consist of a recount of the events happening while I strive to survive in a modded survival world!
I want to spice this up a bit, so I want you guys give me challenges by posting them, and I'll try to do whatever you want. Unless I really don't want to do what you challenged me to do, you can be sure I'll fight for it.
Also, I'm using the Infinity modpack by Feed The Beast, you should really check it out!
To get into the journal, I'll just say I hope you have fun and give me advices about how to make this more interesting. And here it is!!!:
Current Challenges:
Make a ranch and fence it off.
Find a skeleton spawner.
Completed Challenges:
Find a village.
Day 1 download link (Make sure you have the right modpack, FTB Infinity Evolved, before downloading).
I spawned in a beach with some fancy trees and flowers. They all seemed friendly, so I was sure monsters would be like that too.
There was nothing in the modpack called butter (Sorry that was my last bad pun)
I looked around a bit and I found this:
If my biology studies were right, it was a cinderpearl and it summons a prince. (Oh, sorry, I said no more bad puns)
Woo! An oasis, with palms! Biomes o' Plenty rules!!! (See? No puns!)
Also, There was a zombie on the minimap, creepy.
I made a pick with the palm wood and then I dug down and found an underground cave, perfect for collecting stone.
Then I got some tools and realized most caves are underground, I meant lake.
Before:
After:
You got to be kidding me. This didn't happened, OK?
I started looking for a place to build a house..
That thing actually got me, I thought it was some sort of sand you could quickly make.
Darn, perfect for a starter's home. And I saw a pig with Mr T's head!!!
I keep exploring and I only find this.
But then...
Finally some trees! That day, this place stopped being an outback, and became my home. It was perfect: trees, a river...
Wow, those didn't seem like nice guys.
Oh, they actually were. They even ran away from me! (Soooo cute)
So I built the best... shelter... ever!
Shiny!
After this I went looking for coal.
Just what I needed.
O noes! it's getting late!
Something weird was staring at me from up there.
Only my house-box witnessed what happened last night. I hope the hobgoblins are OK.
Suddenly, while writing this journal, I started hearing a creepy sound outside. I think it was an enderman dying, and really close from me. I'm scared.
Day 2:
Remember that thing that was staring at me yesterday? Well:
There is a steppe, east of my Outback. Hm.
I made a furnace, yay!
Then I ate Mr T.
And I went to collect some stone.
lol kewl
Man, this Outback is a life spot between deserts and steppes, like Mesopotamy. I had no idea where I would find sheep.
Hello, human. Do you want to befriend us?
No.
At least he wasn't Mr T.
Was that a pink tree?
A horse stole my bed.
And I went to sleep.
Day 3:
Today, I started building a ranch.
This is the zone where I'll build it!
Yeah, I knew I'll had to destroy my beautiful mansion,
First I needed some more wood.
The trees in the Outpost aren't exactly coast redwoods, but the funny thing is that the second tallest tree in the world is in Australia (Yeah, I'm that smart).
I'll use acacia for the floor.
I got to the pink tree.
Sakura wood, I could use it for the ranch, but its too beautiful to chop down (Its not that I don't like the color of the planks (Yay! Double negation!))
I saw an odd green thing on the minimap.
I headed there and found this, but it wasn't green.
Then, I look up and...
There was a cauldron inside the cabin, thought it may be useful.
My axe broke, meh.
So I crafted another one.
And I hurried back home.
Don't worry, I won't ruin this thread by screaming "SPARTA!!!!!" every time I see a monster.
After bravely fighting the zombies and the skeletons, I found the hobgoblins were using my house.
Savannas are an awesome biome. You should make a ranch style home and light up a large wilderness area around your home and fence it off.

Hello! I love CTM style maps and are willing to help anybody out on the subject. It can be something as simple as textures, story ideas or even beta testing! I have a growing collection of them so of course I don't care if your a professional or not.
Today, I decided to explore the desert and look for a village. I hadn't forgot about the ranch, but I don't want to bore you doing the same thing every day. I'll start building soon.
An enderman teleported a few blocks from me, but he left too fast for me to take a screenshot. I feel stalked.
More cinderpearls!
And even some new stuff.
Also, I found something almost as ridiculous as certain thing I saw before that I don't need to mention (Mr T), a water hive. C'mon, what's a water hive?
I also found a saguaro, it hurt me because I got too close.
In fact, I got hurt because I stepped on a tiny cactus.
Yay! I'm rich! (If that's oil and not sewage.)
OK, there's something definitely wrong with this world.
You know what other games have totems? Hm... Let's think, maybe The Forest. Do you know what The Forest is about? You don't? Google it. Or better yet, don't.
I found another hut.
Darn, I keep stepping on the cactus
And then I found this:
I wasn't sure if they were hostile, but they seemed like knights, and knights are good guys.
They were hostile.
See that cobblestoney thing there? It's my tombstone, at least they buried me.
Got my stuff back, but they killed me again. Finally I googled discovered that, if you don't approach their shiny magic portal, they won't kill you, so I broke the tombstones with my stuff and ran away, but be sure, I'll get revenge on them. I will. Muahahahaha!!!
Look, the stalker enderman!
And that's all, folks!
Day 5:
I was already far from home, so I kept looking for the village.
There was something weird under the sea, but, sadly, not a village.
I called this place "The Gulf of Murderous Knights"
More hives, which are villages of bees. I completed the challenge!
Don't worry, I didn't.
I love the saguaros.
And I was getting better at dodging tiny cactus.
Grrrrrr.
The northern part of the desert was its only unexplored place, but everything pointed to it being an island, and without villages.
NOSTALGIA ALERT: The oasis where I spawned.
And
Yes!!!
Look at it! Look at it!
Selfie!
Weird stuff!
Weird villager!
Hope I didn't waste my time by taking these "patterns".
And that's it! I'm staying with the tinkerer villager till the morning!
Day 6:
Goodbye, Deadbush! (MetaDestroyer asked me to name the village)
Jeje, do you remember quicksand?
The villagers are getting ready for New Year.
And I kinda ruined it.
No!!! I left my bed in Deadbush!!! (I would add a picture of it, but, well)
Home sweet bedless home. At least that didn't stopped the hobgoblins from liiving in it.
In order to ilustrate my situation better, I made a chronology of my adventure:
Day 1-Day 3
Killer Pixie's arrival
Day 4-Day 5
The Dark Ages
Day 6-Ahead
Who knows? The great hobgoblin massacre?
What I'm trying to say is that things are doing quite bad for me, lots of stress...
I built a watchtower! Why? Well, that's a surprise! (Unrelated to ranchs of any kind, sorry)
I tried to jump off and land on a nearby lake.
Forgot to sprint.
Now I need a bow!
I'm pretty sure nobody has imagined what I want to do. Sniper achievement.
The sticks are the easy part. There are like a hundred different ways to get string, but... well... I don't know what's an Alchemic Chemistry Set.
Let the purge begin.
OK, plenty of monsters around. I hope none of the mods I'm using adds some undefeatable mob that appears at night.
SPART... Oh, sorry.
Yippee-ki-yay. (Yay!)
A computer? Oh, today's animals!
I got enough string for a bow quite easily.
Fu...
And I got a bow (Without arrows)
No, just no.
Spider vs. Skeleton! The final battle!
More bizarre stuff.
I crafted some bread with the burning man's leg and continued with the slaughter.
Wow, I originally thought those totems belonged to the dimensional doors mod

Yeah, this is one of the few things that actually scare me a bit in Minecraft, but I'm eager to learn more about Thaumcraft and the other magic mods so I can kill those crimson knights!
Also, I've already got a design for the ranch, I think you'll like it when it's done!
I hope you liked Day 4 and thanks for following my journal!
No, those patterns are useful for making cool tools and stuff.

Ok, Kill five witches in one day. Do you accept it?
Why would I kill five witches if I can kill one and why would I kill them in one day if I can do it in a week?
Answer this questions and I may accept it.
I will be nice and give you something fun. Build a trampoline! use redstone if you know how to
(This is 1.8, right? If not then good luck )
In fact, it's 1.7, is the challenge still on foot? If it is, then it would be cool if you answered some questions. Let's say I can make trampolines without a redstone circuit, can I do it that way? Also: Does it have to be completely reusable, allowing me to jump on it over and over again without having to spend an item or block after a certain time?

Savannas are my favorite vanilla biome! That's why I decided to settle down here.
Challenge Accepted!
Find a village. Do you accept the challenge?
Day 3 released, and challenge acepted!

Also, is anyone actually downloading the worlds? Because I could save myself some time if I stop uploading them.
No, those patterns are useful for making cool tools and stuff.

Ok, man. Good Job. I'm thinking another challenge for Day 7, not 6.
Ok, Kill five witches in one day. Do you accept it?
I'm not going to release any day this weekend. I took a few days off!
Hey, KP, find a skeleton spawner.
Day 6 released!
Things I did in day 6:
Walking
Building
Fighting
Not building a ranch
Wanting to kill hobgoblins
Things I didn't:
Building a ranch (I promise you I'll start in day 8!)
Kiilling hobgoblins (I still conserve some self control)
Why would I kill five witches if I can kill one and why would I kill them in one day if I can do it in a week?
Answer this questions and I may accept it.
You're evil.
Challenge accepted.
I will be nice and give you something fun. Build a trampoline! use redstone if you know how to
(This is 1.8, right? If not then good luck
)
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
Challenge: Get a Thaumometer and scan the skeleton spawner someone else said to find.
In fact, it's 1.7, is the challenge still on foot? If it is, then it would be cool if you answered some questions. Let's say I can make trampolines without a redstone circuit, can I do it that way? Yay! I'm getting to the magic!
Challenge accepted!
