Dude... Diamond spawn rates are random...
Also, Whats the point of this? Going back in time to get Diamonds? It makes no sense. Why are all Newbies after diamonds? I only use diamonds for a good pickaxe and for my Equiv. Exchange mod items

Its random. Alpha worlds: 50,10,15,25,35,3. (Not real numbers but it will never be: 50,50,50.)
