Ok this is my first challenge.. its a fun challenge I came up for myself to do and it is fun enough that I wanted to share. I don't have many challenges listed to complete because I wanted to just reward people for completing stages along the way of beating the main goal. Although i did add in a few optional challenges for the over-achievers :smile.gif:
Back story: You are a living snowman who loves to play with snow, but you are sad because villagers won't be able to experience snow this winter. :sad.gif: So your main goal is to find an NPC village and protect it by building a wall around it and make it a winter wonderland of snow!
Here are the rules:
1. You can only walk on snow or ice. (or else you will melt! Below I talk about the seed: Snow)
2. You are only allowed to step off snow for a few seconds to collect items. 10 seconds max, although while off snow you are not allowed to place snow or create a snow golum. (so you can't run for 10 seconds off of snow, place a snow block, then run 10 more seconds, place another snow block etc that would be cheating.)
3. You can mine/craft whatever you want.
4. You can ONLY place these blocks: Snow (this is your only building block), pumpkin (only to make a snow golum).
5. You can also place items like Crafting Tables, Furnaces, etc. but only for their normal purpose (you can't make a staircase or wall of furnaces for example)
6. Play at least on Easy difficulty. I play on and recommend Hardcore mode.
Challenges:
1. Find a Pumpkin. 500 points
2. Find a NPC Village 1,000 points.
3. Make a snow wall around it and make it a winter wonderland! 2000 points. Congratulations you win the challenge!
Difficulty Modifier:
a)Creative Mode/Non-Vanella Mods that spawn items or make it very easy: -50,000 points.
b)Peaceful Mode: -10,000 points.
c)Easy Mode: Points X 1
d)Normal Mode: Points X 2
e}Hard Mode: Points X 3
f)Hardcore Mode: Points X 10
Optional Challenges:
1. Make a wheat farm that makes a stack of wheat when fully harvested. 500 points.
(Remember: Dirt can't be placed, but you can pour water from a bucket)
2. Mine to bedrock. 500 points.
3. Go to the nether 500 points.
(Remeber: Obsidian can't be placed, but you can pour water/lava)
4 Collect 10 blaze rods: 2,000 points.
5. Go to the END: 5,000 points.
6 Defeat the ender dragon:
a) using only snowballs: 25,000 points
b} using any weapon: 5,000 points
Notes:
I used the seed: Snow and there was a snow biome close by, basically to start out its best to start in a snow biome but if you have to run to one, don't pick up any items or anything before getting on snow.
Let me know if there is something I could add to make it better, or if you have any cool ideas.
I just tried this out a couple times on Hardcore and had a lot of fun.
If you do try it let me know what score you got and what difficulty you played on :smile.gif:
