the challenge goes like this
you have to find a tree cut it down but leave 1 log put dirt on top of that log it becomes the central log, if the dirt or log breaks you lose and you have to stay 1 block away from your trees logs, you can use its saplings wood to continue the tree, for mines you would make roots,
every step instead of leaving the stone u stand on u would break it and put a log, or if you wanted to go pick a flower you would make surface roots, you cant make a wall unless it goes all around and has a roof, you cant use wood from trees that arent from its saplings or from any of its generations

you can only use industrial craft buildcraft or giant trees mods
