Do sheep grow back dyed wool? Walking around my world I see red, blue and light blue sheep. I always shear any sheep that I have dyed, so is it normal to see this?
Yes, they keep their fur color (Which doesn't even makes sense since wool color is set in a organism's genotype) and you're just changing it's phenotype
While it doesen't make sense, i absolutely love it.
And the wierdest parts? Shear a sheep, the wool turns white. Eat some grass, the wool grows back, now it's blue. Breed two blue sheep, they make a blue lamb. WTF?

But to change its phenotype its most likey also changing its genotype.
Actually the white stubble is just because they only have one sheared texture, left over from before sheep could be dyed. Not sure if colored sheared textures will ever be added, although it would be a nice touch.
THAT LOUSY, GOOD-FOR-NOTHING DRAGON EGG OF YOURS.
Actually it kinda is, but, you know.
Or should I say, "not out of the ordinary for Minecraft, which has magical flying ghosts and explodey green guys."

...But that's just my opinion.

After you shear 'em, the stubble is white so it wasn't obvious that it would grow back colored.
Yeah the white stubble is a bug, I think.
