So recently I made a shop in survival mode. My shop has item frames to display the item being sold. When I go back to my home and come back, some of the item frames have magically disappeared. I know nobody is griefing, because my shop is still in construction and closed. If anybody knows why, please help! Thank you
If it's on a server, sometimes clear entity plugins CAN occasionally remove item frames mistaking them for dropped entities instead of non-dropped entities.
Pother than that, you got some txt that's going off and destrying the frames or perhaps lightning? Other than that it will just be a glitch

Lightning and creepers will blow them up even if no griefing is set for creepers.

Playing Minecraft is our chance to escape the reality and mundaneness of everyday life, if only for a little while.
Entities like item frames will disappear if you start running out of RAM. Maybe refreshing will bring them back, but you may need to exit minecraft entirely.
Is there a decorative or defensive snowman in your shop? I tend to have snow golems in wall niches throughout my underground base as an anti-enderman defensive system. Endemen teleport in from the surface or caves, then get a snowball to the face and teleport right back out again. The sound of snowballs being thrown also alerts me to pigmen that spawn in my nether portal or the occasional slime in the lower levels.
But I found out the hard way that snowballs can knock item frames off the walls. And if you don't get there in the next five minutes to pick em up, they despawn. I imagine skeleton arrows do the same thing. Might there have been a snowball fight or someone battling skeletons near your shop?
