isn't this a bit old to reply to? and it's just what they're referencing to the wolves as, just as you would name a person
there isn't a way ingame to name the wolves, without a mod

Well, I had 5 pet wolves in a world so here are their names:
Jen
Fido
Dashie
Alpha
Steve

So I just come up with random names as you can tell (except Dashie (Rainbow Dash! :biggrin.gif:)
