I made a few craters...
I replaced most of the ender crystals with air blocks.
I also fixed a few islands of that glitchy 'Endstone' Block with Air blocks.
In fact, I built a shrine of bedrock surrounded by torches with some end portal.
But seriously, I was playing on creative with Throwcraft.
TNT Bombs + Firebombs + Water + Lighting + Lava + Creative makes the End a very... interesting place.
Standing in the End, I get a queer sense of deja vu, looking around at the empty space surrounding floating islands. Between the combined feeling of agoraphobia and acrophobia, it suddenly hits me.
The End is actually in Xen.

In the real world, you stick your head in the dirt to hide from problems.
In Minecraft, you stick your head in the dirt to find problems.
In ssp survival mode?.. Nothing.
In creative I've built stuff there, though. Mainly rollercoasters, but also a beach, an ice castle and a shop full of blocks that endermen can pick up.
The endermen really like my melons.
I also filled the end with snow golems once
WE'd the entire thing to TNT and one redstone torch =)
I see what you did there..

I was building a big ennderprison to study Endermen and conduct tests on then (I still don't know much about them) but I quit.
Giant enderstone pit quarry
