What is your favorite enchantment? What is the one that you think is the most useful? What is the one that you think is the most useless? Is there one that you don't want? I am just interested on other point of views.

If my post has at all been helpful then I would really appreciate a nice +1 in the bottom right hand corner. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Fortune: Useful, but can be a little hard to get.
Unbreaking: VERY useful. Can be hard to get.
Bane of Anthropods: Kill Spiders, Cave Spiders, and Silverfish faster.
Fire Aspect: AWESOME. Great for steak.
I'm actually relatively new to enchanting, but so far I'd have to say that Fortune or Unbreaking are my favorites. I haven't played around with anything but pickaxes yet.
Fire Aspect: Who does'nt want to see creepers burn?
Silk Touch: Grass in the Nether!
Sharpness: Makes my diamond sword hit harder
Protection: Makes armor take more damage from you.

Golden swords are useless. They do the damage of wood, have half the durability, and are yellow.
Sword: Fire aspect and knockback
TNT: Increased killing-block damage ratio
Helmet: Laser vision
...which just gave me an idea. An enchantment on your helmet, allowing you to be protected from Endermen, just like a pumpkin. However, you still get the protection of your helmet.

Chickens are spawning in my house! Help! PLEASE!
Your house has been compromised therefore you must blow it to hell.

Protection makes the armor take damage instead of you. Therefore, your armor WILL wear out quicker, but your health will stay up longer. After all, your HEALTH is what makes you die, not a low armor bar. Basically, you're saying that you'd rather die but still have your armor intact. What MOST people want is to lose their armor but stay alive.

Can't tell if you're agreeing or [respectfully] disagreeing with him [or her], but if what you said about protection is true, it basically increases your health, like overheal. But health regenerates. So protection isn't quite necessary, unless you intend on taking a lot of damage at one time. Like in a TNT explosion.
Can't tell if I'm agreeing or disagreeing.

Favorite - Fire aspect
Useful - Fortune/Unbreaking for pickaxes and shovels (Well unbraiding mostly for shovels)
Don't Want - Aqua affinity. I don't do much underwater building but I guess it could be useful if I do.
Useless - Bane of Arthropods. Smite would be better as there are 3 common monsters for Smite and 1 for Bane of Arthropods.

I'm, more or less, disagreeing. If you watch Etho's latest video (not Legendary, I'm talking about his main world) you can learn a lot about the enchantments. He did sort of a Myth Busters episode and it was full of great info.

Don't need to be a shovel, bro!
But seriously, it works on everything if it would drop. Pickaxes on grass, for example.
