So basically, I wan't everyone's ideas on things that would be fun or challenging (not ridiculously intricate designs with 458972 details, please) to build in my dedicated single player world. I'll be (trying) to build it legit, though I might use mods like Buildcraft to gather resources or maybe SPC if I'm getting desperate. I'll post pictures every now and then to show the progress, and if you'd like to request a certain texture pack for the pictures i can try and do that for you, but please note that i have a really, REALLY slow pc, so i try to avoid TP's of over 64x64. Finally, I don't know how many idea's/suggestions I might be getting, so I don't yet know in what order i would build said ideas, and if your idea doesn't get built, try not to get upset about it? D:

Battle/War Zone (Complete)
Fortress in the Nether (Date TBA)

I just started a new world and my current home is a treehouse. You could try that, it's really fun to get bonemeal and grow the trees then shape and mould them to make it into a house. I try to use as much of the natural leaves for the floors, walls, and ceilings as possible.

Sounds good, I quite enjoy treehouses myself, but lately I've found i skip making a nice house and just go straight to exploring, which is quite boring. I'll start with this idea then :biggrin.gif:

yeah, its got some great stuff on there. I'd help out with it but I'm really no good with that stuff so i couldn't think of anything to add haha. :wink.gif:

Update: I'm reverting back to 1.7.3 due to lag issues with 1.8 ... just thought it might be worth sharing.

I'm stuck with 1.7 on my home computer :/ But school gave us laptops and I minecraft with no lag :ohmy.gif: At least you don't have to worry about endermen destroying your buildings :tongue.gif:

:laugh.gif: true, endermen annoy me for that sole reason x.x I don't understand why Notch makes a game in which you build in, and then makes mobs that destroy things, sure it's challenging but man it;s annoying. Lucky that you get to play games on your school laptops, the ones we have you cant even get a right click menu because there that strict with their pc's
