I've recently completed digging a trench around a slime chunk, and am beginning to set up waterworks. I was wondering, however, do mobs take damage if they drop down into any amount of water?
top spawning pad is at 16, bottom is....I wanna say 5. The highest level where bedrock can spawn.
Assuming a 1-block layer of water flowing to a collection/ladder point, they SHOULD survive, correct?
I'm not really up on water/mob theory, and yes, I did check the wiki.
it says that you need 1 layer of water per 16 blocks falling, and small slimes only have 1/2 a heart of health.

just want to get my calculations checked.
most of the slimes dropping will be the tinies.
gonna have spawning pads with only 1 block of air, forcing all slimes to be tinies. Thus I want to be 100% sure.
Not looking forward to lighting up the blocks in a 128 block radius......there's an Abandoned Mine RIGHT next to the chunk I'm working on.
