I can't believe this worked but...
To make slime farm,
Dig to the center of the earth
Then make a large cavern (3-4) blocks high
Light it up alot
Wait
Then bam! slimes.
Heres a pic of proof...

Of course they do.. They spawn everywhere down below, it's ridiculous many do. They get in the way too much.

this actually helped me out, finally, i can *legitimately* make sticky pistons, large scale.
