I am in my mine to go collect lava for my execution pits and I was short a bucket. I built a crafting table and an oven next to eachother in a shallow hole in a wall I made. I started smelting my iron and then the cobblestone where I was standing started burning!
I think I have heard of this glitch before but what is going on?
Lava can set things on fire that is near it. Used to happen on my heated pool that was surround in stone. Don't think that fire can spread, but not sure about that.

Actually it can spread that way. For some reason the non-flammable wooden items like doors, crafting tables, chests, etc. will not show the flame on themselves so usually a block next to them will appear to burst into flames.

My crafting table... oooh it caught an edge of the crafting table on fire and I looked like it was the cobblestone... thank you.
Stupid liberal cobblestone... they want to stop me from making an execution room!
That did not call for a sunglasses moment or a yeah.
And it's cobble sapping >:l
I completely agree. What a waste of a perfectly good reference >:l

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
