So i started my 1.8.1 survival. I got about half way through the night and about five endermen spawned but, they were all white. After I changed my pants i got a picture of it.. what happened?

Endermen are white in low fog levels for some reason.

Well, it sounds like a bug. I'm like the others and I wanna see a pic....

Pics or it didn't happen.

But seriously, I wanna see this, cause I'm not believing it. It'd be a pretty screwy glitch/bug if it was real though, completely inverting the colors of a mob.

Can we see said picture? As for the problem, Do you have a texture pack? 1.8 is so new that the person who made the texture pack probably doesn't have the enderman textures yet. That's probably a nonsensical answer but I'm not the most programming-inclined person.

Yes i am using a texture pack but it is 1.8

As for it being the texture pack texture. I just checked it in the texture pack folder and it is a regular enderman skin.

Were you using a texture pack? Or is your computer old?

the same thing happens to spider in when the fog is set to tiny, i couldn't wrap my head around it at first, but hey, they'll probably release a 1.8.1 patch in a week or so.

You where using a texturepack.

That is SMP's texture pack. I've been using it for months-- it retextures Endermen to be white.

Nothing to be afraid of. Just switch back to normal Minecraft if you miss the old Endermen.

Use HD patcher for texture packs, it fix endermen and water issues , no matter you are using a 16x texture pack
