OK! I am trying to copy my multiplayer world into singleplayer survival. I go to my multiplayer world folder, copy it, paste it into the Saves folder for singleplayer. When i load the world in singleplayer, it is in creative mode, but i want it in survival, how do i fix this??
I tried creating a siblgeplayer world with the same seed as the multiplayer world and going to the same coords as my base, but the area is not the same,(i know the buildings dont show up) the biome is totally different.

PLEASE HELP!!
try deleting your player.dat file within the server's world folder. then drag in into your single player saves folder
I think I know the answer to your seed problem. Did you make the multiplayer world in an older version? If so the seeds won't generate the same landscapes as they did in earlier versions. Try making a new world then take all the files in your multiplayer world and put them directly in the new worlds save folder. If that doesn't work, Google won't bite.
is the player.dat file just the players folder? i cant find it. and yes the seed was in an older version but idc about that, i just want it to be survival not creative.

Transferring from creative to survival is simple, many people have created threads on how to do it. Try and search some before you post a thread asking for help.

Use NBTEdit. Open it up, go to select world (or something on those lines), go to wherever your multiplayer world save is, select the level.dat. Then, look for world type. Put the number 2 in. It should be survival now. (If that doesn't work, make it the number 1. If that doesn't work, make it number 0. I can't remember the specifics. Sorry)
What this person said, but they got the numbers wrong,
1 = creative
0 = survival
2+= nothing
