So uh, I have a world, and it was fine, except when I attempted to teleport back to my base, I was stuck in an empty world sinking, to the point that I got below y: -1500.
I had a backup, however I've progressed so much since that save that I'm not going to be using it.
I ended up at my original spawnpoint and got back to my base, however there were at least two instances where there were a lot of entities, in particular sheep.
In one place, no bigger than 30x30, there were 2000 sheep.
A chunk or so away, there were 3000.
I haven't spawned any in, and I don't know why they're there.
If I was in 1.8 I'd be able to just /kill @e, however being in 1.7.10 it's killing me without killing the sheep.
I could have also used /butcher had I been on a server.
Is there a command I can use?
I've sinced disabled mob spawning, but I'm getting one frame every few seconds.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
UPDATE: It seems to be happening everytime I reload the world, and I'm also now getting chunk-loading errors..
Since your in 1.7.10, there's no commands that will kill the sheep directly
However, using a sword or splash potions of damage in creative mode might help (swords also do no damage to terrain in C mode)
That's what I feared. I've killed a few of them, it's kind of getting better, now there's just a lot of experience/drops lag, not too hard to fix. I'm not running vanilla so it made it a little easier.
Thanks for the response though.

Sounds like you have some uuid errors on the mobs that wont let them be targeted, try opening your map in mcedit, select the region and delete all entities
