I'm not in favor of this because some people vote for Mo'creatures & a lot of people don't like it a lot. Also there'll be requests for removing such mods which would be a lot of trouble for modders. But that's just my opinion.

Go check out some of my suggestions on my profile, in the about me tab!
Um, you mean 1.8?? And no, he wouldn't do that ever. The development team is already having a hard time to get everything done by November 11-19. Don't expect what you just suggested to happen - ever. Just being honest man.
I heard that the last adventure update will be 2.7, and i came up with something
Notch should have players vote on top 5 mods, to add by default into the game (if they are not added and any other updates)
you're probably thinking "just install the mod idiot!"
i can't because im on a laptop, and i get a black screen
having a laptop means nothing, and if notch wants to make mods vanilla, he will. that's been a rare occurrence though. Either way, I honestly can't think of more than a couple mods worth making vanilla.
from everything i have seen 1.8 is the last major update before release
we are not going to get any where near 2.7
also mods can be installed by those who want them
can we please stop trying to make mojang waste their time adding mods that are already available to the people who want them
i swear this is the only game i have played where the community just does not understand the purpose of modding.
its so you can change your game to the way you want
not to change everyones game to they way you want
I can understand both sides of the conflict, but I'd really not want to have Notch add some stupid mods just because the community wants them.
Mods = Modify
They modify your game. Not other people's.
They're not meant to be put into the Vanilla. Also, just because the piston mod got added, doesn't mean that Mojang is really open to adding mods.
Plus, make sure you deleted the file "META-INF" or that one of your mods doesn't conflict with another. Just because you're on a laptop doesn't mean mods don't work.
PS; Who the hell told you that 2.7 was the last of the adventure updates?

1.8 actually has to be done by PAX, which starts at the 26th, where it would be available to play prior-1.8.
OT: I didn't know you came from the future, because we're long from 2.7.
While I disagree with the OP's suggestion, I don't understand the people who say we will never hit 2.7.
You guys DO understand that the game will continue to be updated even AFTER full release, right?

I find it very unlikely Notch is going to have, a record breaking, 17 DLCs.

if you black screen you didn't install it right.. Did you delete meta-inf? Are you playing in browser or client?
Where did you here that?
You're obviously not installing the mods right. Mods work on a laptop too. :dry.gif:

So laptop = Blackscreen? Nope nope nope nope nope.
You didn't install it right. You either didn't delete the META-INF folder, or you intalled a mod that conflicts with other mods.
Anyway, where did the whole 2.7 thing come from? You realise we're only coming up on 1.8 right now?

i have tried intsalling mods, i have watched videos, i have asked other mincerafters but i jus cant seem to get it

Less DLC than patches, but I guess that's just semantics.
In any case, it wouldn't be record-breaking: WoW is up to 4.2.
The second decimal is for content, the third is for bug fixes, unless you can prove me wrong again.
I believe you are correct, but... How does that discredit what I said?
