Endermen are overestimated, people have been watching videos about them like "OH TEH NOES THE EVIL BLACK MEN WILL STEEL MAH BLAWKZ" when all they could do was create traps or make it out of tougher blocks. I mean really. All you do is never put your crosshair on them and they won't bug you. Ever. People are overreacting about it

I like the idea of Endermen. I have always thought that Minecraft was more fun when it was less lighthearted and more anxious and even frightening, like my first caving experience, and Endermen were created to serve exactly that purpose! From what I hear of them, there are a few things I would do differently, but I ain't the creator, and who I am to complain before they are even released? I look forward to 1.8 even more because of them.

Intelligence is not one and the same with knowledge.
I like how the fighting style is different, and that you can avoid attacking easily, and how creepy they are.
Though I'm concerned that they'll spawn and break my mob trap, since they can move blocks and are 3 meters tall, but I can add a roof so they can't spawn.
All I know is that they look scary as hell. I'd rather see them in the daylight than at night behind a tree watching you, or in a very dark cave with their bright eyes watching you.
