Hello and welcome! Today I am showing pictures of my Realm, which I call the 8-bit Realm. Here are the specs:
Survival? Yes.
Difficulty? Hard.
Cheats allowed? TP is allowed (nothing else), but you can't use it if you're in a bad situation.
Customized world? No.
Can I join the Realm? Sorry to say, but the Realm is just for friends. I hope you understand. This thread isn't here to advertise the Realm, it's here to show the world to everyone.
Players? There are currently only 3 players on the Realm. PipPopPiggle, The_8_Bit_Zombie (me), and a player that I think would like to stay anonymous.
Now that you've read the specs, here's what we've done!
My mansion:
View from outside.
View of the first floor. (Not decorated at all, I know, but stay with me, there's more interesting builds.)
View of the second floor. (Again, really boring.)
View of the second floor's porch.
My backyard.
If you throw an item on the bottom of the 7th step on the right side of the porch, a secret door opens.
The secret door leads down to my beacon room.
From the beacon room, you can get out through a secret exit, which opens into the lake that you saw earlier.
My basement: (A.K.A a 25x25 quarry mine that goes down to bedrock under my house.)
The first level of the basement.
The second level.
Third level.
Fourth level.
The rest of the basement is currently unoccupied, besides the jungle tree I'm tearing down and the strip mines I use.
PipPopPiggle would also like to note that he helped me a lot in clearing the quarry mine.
Our player-made village:
(It actually has a population of 26 villagers now, (all of them cured) with 5 player-made golems.)
Here's the villager curing station that I designed:
The zombie villager chases you, falls into the cell, and gets cured. Then, you just open the iron door and push the villager into a water stream, which takes it up to the village. Also in case you're wondering there is a roof up high above the station so the zombies don't burn.
Farms: (Not food farms.)
The iron farm: (Using Nims' design. It yields around 70 ingots per hour when someone's on the Realm, since it's in the spawn chunks.)
Zombie XP farm: (Lights are turned on in this image.)
Rainbow sheep farm:
Random builds:
PipPopPiggle's bakery:
The Ender Shrine: (Built by PipPopPiggle.)
A small trampoline: (Built by me.)
You flick the switch, and the piston starts pumping. You randomly take fall damage though, and I have no idea why. :/
PipPopPiggle's pool and house:
The cemetery:
If you want to know why the 5 villagers died, go to this thread.
Thank you for reading! I will release updates whenever I can!
Awesome realm! How did you make the secret entrance with the stairs in the front of your mansion?

Awesome realm! How did you make the secret entrance with the stairs in the front of your mansion?
Thanks! The redstone is pretty simple:
Hoppers can suck items through half blocks, and since the bottom half of stairs are half blocks, it works. Once it sucks the item up, it sends it to a chest. If the chest has an item in it, a comparator will send out a constant signal to a NOT gate, which reverses the power and turns the piston off, opening up the secret entrance. If the chest is empty, the NOT gate will stay on, and the piston will stay closed.

Did that make any sense?

I'm lucky I thought of it - otherwise I'd have to make a random half slab on my porch.
The torches are overused.
Some glowstone lamps would look better
That's true. They are kinda ugly right now.
After:
My XP farm is in the "farms" spoiler. ☻
30 XP in 2 minutes?!? Wow! Mind if you show me the design? XD
