Hi All Please Help, I see from the main wiki pages and minecraft info that the killer bunny has a 1 in 1000 chance of spawning.
But the answer that i cant find is if this means "Natural Spawn " somewhere on the map,, or What i'm presently working on which is breeding many Bunnies and there is a 1 in 1000 chance that one of the cute furry little bunnies im breading can at any time be "The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog"
span>They no longer spawn naturally so you won't find one.
They definitely spawn naturally. They're just really, really, really, more-really's-than-diamonds rare. I ran over 6000 blocks in like 25 different maps, and in all that time I only ever saw one killer rabbit (via voxelmap) and he and I happened to be moving in opposite directions so we never met.
Well, I've never come across one, but if I did it wouldn't last long. hehehe

White coats to bind me, out of control
I live alone inside my mind
World of confusion, air filled with noise
Who says that my life's such a crime?
Trapped in this nightmare
I wish I'd wake
As my whole life begins to shake
four walls surround me
an empty gaze
I can't find my way out of this maze
'Cause I don't care
Fall in, fall out
Gone without a doubt, help me
I can't take the blame
They don't feel the shame
It's a madhouse
Or so they claim
It's a madhouse
Oh, am I insane?
My fears behind me, what can I do
My dreams haunt my sleep at night
Oh no, won't learn their lesson, white fills my eyes
And only then they see the light
They used to spawn naturally, but not anymore. In 14w27a the rate was 1/1000, in 14w28a that was changed to 1/2500, and in 14w34a natural spawning was removed entirely.
One must not count to two, unless they are passing over it to count to three. Nor shall they count to four. And five is completely out of the question.
Maybe Spawn Eggs and natural spawning are different. So you might still find one using a spawn egg.
It seems like all ways of meeting the killer bunny do not work in Survival mode. You can only see one if you use commands or spawn eggs.
Being a nerd is nothing to be ashamed of. Nerds rule the world! Who invented the internet? Nerds. Who created personal computers and smart phones? Nerds. Who made every video game you've ever played and ever will? Still nerds. Who sent probes to distant planets? Nerds, nerds and more nerds! I'm a nerd and I'm proud.
Do you have a source on that? I see it on the wiki but the wiki is sometimes wrong. It is not in the changelog for 14w34a on Mojang.com. It seems strange they would remove a mob and make it creative only. All other mobs are possible in survival. Why not this one? If it is the case that spawning of natural rabbits is disabled I would hope it would be reported to the bug tracker.
Analysis of decompiled code. In 14w33c, class abz, there's clearly code to set RabbitType = 99 with a 1/2500 chance when not in Peaceful. In 14w34a, now class aca, there isn't.

Interesting. I wonder why that was removed. I may report that to the bug tracker.

This is in Survival mode no cheats.
Tks
They're not as deadly as in The Holy Grail, so you shouldn't have too much trouble fighting one.

THREE SIR!!!
And the Original question remains, Has anyone breed a killer rabbit while breeding rabbits ?
