Half of the topics on the first page are just random complaints. Every update is not the end of all updates. if you got to report a bug then do it but don't say "this is the worst update ever"!! or "Notch is trying to screw us!!!" because its pretty clear that he isn't. Complaining about complaining but its really annoying to see so many angry topics about such a peaceful game.

A hilarious sense of entitlement and ignorance of what 'as is' means are what make up the majority of the complaints.

The most annoying thing about those people complaining is that it's going to now spawn endless threads asking why people are complaining. It's a vicious cycle, and everyone thinks they have unique and spectacularly interesting thoughts which demand yet another whole new thread on the subject(s).

And the inability to do a version rollback can get annoying if you don't like a given feature.

Although an 'older' player, I don't think that age alone is the major factor, ( damn near everyone is younger than me), I think it's a combination of factors, we have all paid for the game, only natural that some people believe they are entitled to the sort of support we have been accustomed to from large software houses, a proportion of players arrived after the beginning of beta, and don't have quite the same experience as those who have been around longer.

Unfortunately it's so common that it's almost a meme, try looking up the Minecraft Update Cycle, even the complaints about the complaints are a part of the cycle :biggrin.gif:

I will never complain about an update, because it will be fixed very soon. I don´t know why people keep saying that 1.6 updates are the worst, THEY´LL GET FIXED!!!

not all people under 17 are retards. i mean most are. i was. im not anymore. i think they do it cos they want minecraft to be perfect cos if they dont moan, notch wont know if they like it or not thus not being able to get the game right for the community. minecraft is a game developed around the followers, or it was. its either that or their just incomprehensibly stupid.

I say some complaints are good and some are bad.
The ones asking for useless junk = bad.
The ones aboout glitches that were previously unknown. Good!

Since without complaints Notch would have to work on finding bugs on his own.
I think if people complain about bugs they can get the game more polished off when it is finally released.

Well Notch is a millionaire most likely and the release of 1.6 probably took alot of work in the first place. Be happy that he is doing any bugfixes. Im sure they have lives too. Stop being so selfish and calm down. You don't have to update.

Because most of them are socially awkward middle school students who only migrated to this game because their parents stopped paying for their World of Warcraft accounts.
