Hey so I've been working on a mod pack for the network I work with, and I've decided one of the better ways to get word about it out would be to play through it in journal style!
But anyway, if you came by, you want to see a journal, not my shameless self advertising.
I measure days by MineCraft days, so keep that in mind. xD
DAYS 1 and 2:
Made a world with a seed for a village near spawn (It gets lonely alone you know!)
Had a Bonus Chest spawn, so I checked it, got the stuff, and took the chest for later.
Got some horses, and Pixies somehow...
Heh, found a Dungeon, not far from the Village either.
Selfie!
So I found that there were two Taverns, so I'm turning one into my home.
There's days 1 and 2 for you!
Day 3:
Decided to begin mining. Can't get anywhere without tools!
I had to roam for a bit to find a good cave, the first was literally just a hole, but I eventually found one!
Dangerous Worlds gives me these EXTREMELY painful arrow traps
RAVIIIINEEEEE
Oh Hell no...
Well after I did a crud ton of uneventful mining, I have RETURNED! At the start of Day 4, perfect!
Here's my inventory from the trip
Day three, though pretty boring, was a success!
Day 4:
Came back on the world, I guess it was night, somehow, I think I'm going to go to the dungeon soon!
Freaking zombie killed me as I was getting off the roof o-e
Well I guess before I go explore I should make my house a little more useful!
Made some Armor
Using the Better Furnaces Mod, I put my furnace up to Tier 2!
READY FOR THE DUNGEON!
Dungeon:
I didn't get carrots from the village, but I guess I'm good now!
Spawner, I'm gonna break that mother lover.
Floor two, here I come
So in the Rouge-Like Dungeons mod, there are rooms like this scattered about, there were two on this floor
Enchanting Table!
Loot Bags Mod gave me an Adventurer's Backpack!
So there's an anvil too!
While breaking out bookshelves for the books inside, I found a secret room!
It had three diamonds in the walls, so I got 'em!

Whew that was a long post (So much longer to post xD)
Well we've made some progress so far!

Day 5-10 (Maybe?)
Alright, so the title, "maybe?" refers to the fact that I spent about 10 Minecraft days just breaking down all the village houses, as well as expanding my farm and some other goofin you can see here. Honestly I have no clue how long I spent doing this, but it was somewhere around 10 days.
Anyway, check out this title screen I got, courtesy of Twilight Forest's Giants xD
But to begin, I didn't take photos of me breaking the village, but all my villagers died from a poisoned water hole xD I'll have to use zombie villagers later to bring 'em back.
Here's the village now, er, I mean my Home
I made some furnace upgrades, one for Improved ore processing (doubles the output :D) and one to auto input from chests that are next to it
I went ahead and use the Deconstruction table mod to get some iron and wood from all the homes I broke in town, as well as some smooth stone *rubs face on smooth stone*
Using the resources I collected from that, I made two more chests, as well as five JABBA Barrels for my junk (I made the other two after I took this, sorreh
No idea what mod this is from, but man he was mean
I went mining again, found a lovely cave, and a SPAWNER!
So as I was collecting my third backpack, a potion spawner murdered me while I tried to take items from a chest xD
Fun times, right?
But hey, I did make a ladder to the spawner as a result, so thanks murderous potion trap!
On my way home, I found a Thaumcraft ruin, and a chest!
Yeah, I got lost, good thing I had a CrystalWing! If you didn't know, they are teleportation items that take you to your spawn, which in my case is my home!
So here's the Haul, as well as my new furnace setup!

Day 11
Real short one, all I did this day was use a deconstruction table to make some enchanted books, to move to my own armor!
That's really it xD but hey, I got a new hat as well! (Troll mask)
Day 12
Woah, Time to construct a new home already! Well it took AGES, but I finally gathered enough dirt to create a decent foundation, somewhere around 19x25, so big, but not huge
So I've made some progress with the house, I did a pretty decent job I think, lemme know what you all think in the comments!
(Check out this parkour I made to get up to the roof xD)
Also had to break down the last of the original village xD
Did a little big of farming on the side, and set up my ranch fences!

Day 13
Actually bringing animals to the farm now, those school nights didn't allow me to get to that point in the last entry xD
Got around to getting a horse! Hope it doesn't get killed xD Can't afford to lose a ton of amimalz in such a hard world.
Used some of the Thaumium Ingots to make a shovel, so It'd be a little more durable xD
Went out to collect some sugar cane and some sand, mostly to work on the bookshelves for enchanting
Also got the horse outfitted for some armor, I can't think of a name for him, any ideas?
Did a little mining, figured it'd give me something to do while I waited for the crops and animals to grow up
Christ these spawners are killin me guys.
Made some rooms for the return of the villagers, Its gonna be a pain to capture three zombies for this
Made a fermented spider eye to make the weakness potions
And here they are!
Caught one! Hes currently changing
Not a farmer or librarian like I'd hoped, but he trades well!
And the hunt starts again!
Before I headed out, I enchanted a pick with my levels in case I lost em that night
And here's number two!
Oh the Irony! xD
Not bad! Thaumcraft trader!

No! Not the Chicken Jockeys!!!

I'd be happy to add MCA, gonna check it with my team and ill see what they think. As for updates, 2.0 will be adding a custom mod, some world generation mods, and some other secrets
Hey Jako, I'm going to make a modded journal using this modpack, so I can show what i'm doing in my world while advertising the amazing pack for your team. I've gotten pretty far already
NIce Update I hate those spawners, makes caving fun though I recently had it where I was strip mining and around 20-30 silverfish came out, got some hearts and loot bags though I also have 3 backpacks, 2 bat where I get unlimited night vision and one iron golem, I <3 backpacks
Well thanks to the people who read and download the pack, even without commenting, you are helping me and my team out greatly Its nice to know you guys are liking it, we are up to seven installs, hopefully that'll keep going up!
