Here is some strage things that have been popping up for me. Herobrine has been on youtube videos and such, and I have seen a couple doccumentaries. But, the question is: Is Notch faking Herobrine from existance, or did he add him in on a update without telling us?

When Minecraft Beta 1.6.6 came out, one of the things he said he had changed was "*removed Herobrine". Then a while later when Minecraft Beta 1.7 came out, again he said "-removed herobrine". But what is it all about? Many say it is Notch's dead brother, others say it's from CreepPasta, But what is it all about? Does anyone out there know? What does it mean?

I have not actually expierienced him myself, but many rumors and videos have made me wonder, But the best one is , called "Herobrine who is he?" Well if anyone can solve this mystery, please post here, or any questions, post here to so a user can answer your questions.

You will notice that every single patch note now, Notch always includes "removed Herobrine" So people would stop believing in the stupid story. Notch does not have a brother, he never has had a brother.

There is no mystery. Herobrine is a story that some people made up and is now old and overused. He never existed.

Great point! "-removed Herobrine" should be an addition of removing. This makes it a double negative making it an actuall addition then something that is removed. Keep the good thinking up you guys!

Herobrine was an automatic player. My friend saw him. He was a basic looking character with no pupils. My friend said that he broke every window in his house, and when he made a forum about it it got deleted and a person with the name Herobrine pmed him: "Stop." ANYWAY, I know who he is. He is Notch's dead brother. I wish I got to see him before herobrine got removed, it sounds cool.

Notch and the makers of the creepypasta have confirmed that it was fake. In fact, if you look in the folders, you will see that there is no Herobine skin or anything.

Using the word autistic is offensive, and typing in the style you did makes you seem not only stupid, but young on top of it. No one will take you seriously.

No where in the coding is there anything about herobrine or any ai other then the well known mobs. Download single player commands,type in "spawn monster 1", this will make basically a reskinned zombie that looks like herobrine. If there was code of herobrine, the creator of the mod would no doubt have made you able to spawn it. Herobrine has been conformed fake on numerous occasions. Notch did this just like jeb left the "crying obsidian" skin, They are a small company which lets them interact with their fan base much more then say blizzard. Although, there is an achievement about Leroy Jenkins so i suppose even large companies show fan service sometimes.

The "Removed Herobrine" in the changelist was a joke. In both updates. He never existed, and he never will. Therefore, he was never removed. Hence that part of the changelist being a joke.
