Would it be possible to get all of the locations/ids of the blocks currently loaded into a large file? As in, every single visible block in the world's location.
Incase you're wondering, I just had the idea to make all the coordinates into points on a large mesh (I'm not entirely sure how). I just think it would be quite nice to be able to see your world more smoothly

That would be millions of blocks man...
The file would be too big
its not that big, your only looking at 16,000 blocks per chunk (bedrock to sea level) and around 32,000 if there is a mountain to sky limit.
and lets say on spawn you can see 10 chunks in all direction, that would give 65.5 million blocks (again assuming a flat terrain no hills)
Well, if you are talking about the blocks which are being rendered, I think it's not that much. MC only renders all blocks next to an air/empty block. That would be much less than those 65 million blocks.
Edit: Oh look, I was ninja'd. Indeed, rendering =/= calculating.
Rendering means creating a grapical version of the block, so it can be sent your monitor.
